@ Stamford Museum and Nature Center April 3rd

Children can hunt for eggs on a real farm at the 6th annual Egg Hunt on Heckscher Farm Saturday, April 3, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Stamford Museum & Nature Center. Children ages six and younger may bring their own baskets and hunt for the thousands of eggs that will be hidden all over the farm. Eggs will be replenished throughout the event, so everyone will get a chance to collect them. At the end of the hunt, eggs may be turned in for a goody bag. Details

for Junior Achievement of Southwest Connecticut

If you like to help kids, win prizes, and have fun, this fundraiser is right up your alley! On Saturday, April 24, more than 400 bowlers from area companies and friends will join forces to raise money for Junior Achievement of Southwest Connecticut at the 24th Annual Bowl-a-Thon. A Bowl-a-Thon works just like a Walk-a-Thon, but instead of walking you are bowling. It is a great opportunity to get together with co-workers or friends, to have fun while helping out Junior Achievement. It's just a $20 registration fee per bowler, which covers the cost of shoe rental and two games, and every Bowler that raises $100 will be eligible for door prizes which are given away every 5 minutes.

Delighting and amazing truck enthusiasts of all ages, the Westport Weston Cooperative Nursery School’s much-loved Touch-A-Truck event returns to Westport on Saturday, March 27. This year’s event promises a fleet of crowd-pleasing trucks and vehicles, including the Westport Police Department’s inflatable Dive Boat, Trumbull’s SWAT vehicle, an ambulance, cement mixer, bulldozer, school bus and limousine. This year’s event will also feature an exciting, new attraction, "Roaming Railroads: Train Rides for Kids,” as well as the return of the "TheAmazingFunBus."

7th Annual MMRF Walk/Run

On Sunday, June 13, join the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation for the 7th annual Race for Research 5K Walk/Run through picturesque New Canaan. With an outstanding 93% of funds raised going to research, your participation on June 13 will help fund the development of next generation multiple myeloma treatments to extend the lives of patients and lead to a cure.
